PRADA Beauty Pop Up - SoHo
We are here, friends, with highlights from Laser Art NYC's summer schedule.
I work with a lineup of outstanding millwork and fabrication shops in New York and beyond. The fabrication work you'll see here is their work. They work with Laser Art NYC for its dimensional lettering processes.
In this post, you'll see projects for retail and luxury brand experiences, an independent bag designer, and a trade show booth at NeoCon 2024. All of Laser Art NYC's projects are executed with precision and care. We never miss a detail.

Why is Laser Art NYC the premier laser cutting studio of the brand experience industry?
Obviously, all laser vendors can cut precise details, but my templates tell install crews the correct points of registration for the artwork. In this case, it was unknown if the artwork was laid out on an artboard that corresponded to the actual size of the millwork. But I could see from the rendering that it was to be centered.
If I had sent a generic template that was centered to the graphic rather than the X-height (the "I" in this case) it would have been off. And by telling the installers that, I saved them the time of having to figure it out.
In context- these are complicated, fast paced installations, and the people who work on them are very skilled. My job is to make their work a little easier. It's more than cutting letters. That's what distinguishes Laser Art NYC.

To the left, you'll see that we produced a laser cut template with pilot holes and registration points for our stand-off panels that were used to plan the installation.
And it all packed up into a small unit for transport. I delight in these details.

That's it for now, friends. Currently, Laser Art NYC is finishing up some very interesting luxury brand projects, that I can't wait to share with you. And, of course, there's more to come as the holiday season approaches.
I hope to see you at the Easton Winter Village, but no presh. -- Matt Laska
